The Virtual Memories Story

"I have very few pictures of my childhood," Jackie Cronin explains. She had always been interested in photography as an artistic hobby, but after her children were born that interest grew: She wanted to make sure her children would be able to relive their childhood memories and share those memories with their children. So Jackie began scrap-booking, and spent many hours creatively keeping her kids' albums up to date. But with family far away, it was difficult to share those albums.

So with her technical experience and her creative talents, Jackie began scanning her print photos and editing the pictures to music. Now family members can look forward to receiving creatively edited pictures to music on DVD's on a regular basis!

"I wanted to share this service with others so I started Virtual Memories," Jackie says. "So many customers are requesting shows for 80th birthdays and 50th anniversaries. They bring me all their old photos to scan to put into a tribute for their parents. It's such a wonderful way to honor that person or couple!"

We do not produce shows by having you fill out a detailed and confusing form that we then attempt to interpret; we will meet with you or discuss your project in great detail over the phone. It is our top priority to listen to what you would like. We will discuss music options with you and give you guidance in the proper music selections.

Virtual Memories will choreograph your photos to the music to make your production meaningful and timeless. We can zoom in and pan to bring your photos to life. We don't charge extra for titles and we don't limit the number of songs you can use. We will make recommendations on the right mix of music selections so your production flows smoothly. We will insure that the music will work and can even edit down your song selections to shorten them as needed, so your photos flow with the music.

Most importantly, your photo show includes your touch. Our efforts animate the choices you make of photographs, videos, other scanned mementos, and music.

Professional craftsmanship

  • High-quality DVD-R disk medium.
  • Red eye removal, cropping and other minor photo adjustments at no extra cost. (See Special Services on our Pricing page for cost of photo restoration and repair of damage.)
  • Uncompressed original photo files in backup directories with your photo show on your custom DVD. This means you can put your DVD in your computer and retrieve the uncompressed photo files off of the DVD.
  • Custom titling that makes each photo show DVD a unique and professional work.

Jackie Cronin has experience in producing, directing and editing a wide variety of news and entertainment shows for corporate and Broadcast television including The Fox Network, AT&T and Bell Atlantic. She also was a Director of the Fox 10 O’clock News in Detroit for 5 years.
